Woking Cats Protection We’re here to support cats across Woking and District -check out our website for further information.

Every year we help more than 500 cats in a variety of ways. We do all the obvious things including: Re-homing strays, unwanted pets and cats that cannot stay with their owners often for heartbreaking reasons. We help them in ways such as: fostering these cats and kittens until a suitable home is found, advising people about various cat related matters, taking cats to the vet for treatment or check

ups, fundraising to support our activities, advertise cats who are lost or found help to reunite lost cats with their owners.

On the 16th of June at Cats Protection we celebrate Mature Moggies Day to acknowledge how amazing our senior cats are.

Sadly, older cats in our care have to wait three times longer to find homes than their younger counterparts.

However, mature cats have a lot to offer:

🐾They can cope better with their human’s busy lifestyle.
🐾They are usually more content
🐾Their personality, quirks and preferences are already established

Layla is still waiting for her forever home, and we really don’t want her to be overlooked. She has been in our care since January, and it’s time this lovely girl found the safe, loving home she deserves.

Layla is a beautiful and gentle cat who may be a little shy when you first meet her. Give her time and patience, and she’ll soon show her true personality—affectionate, chatty, and full of quiet charm.

She’s looking for a calm household where she can be the only pet. Layla would be happiest with cat-savvy older children (12+) and would love access to a safe garden where she can explore at her own pace.
