The Useful Wood Company Wood Recycling Social Enterprise We collect wood from local building and construction sites for less than the cost of a skip.

Once collected we grade the wood and sell wood to local builders or DIY. We also use it in our workshop to make a wide range of attractive and useful items like Bird feeders, Bird tables, Nesting Boxes, Planters, Benches, Log stores, Tables etc. Orders are also taken for bespoke items. Any wood that can't be used is chipped or processed for bio-fuel. As members of the National Community Wood Recyc

ling Project we guarantee that no collected wood ever goes to landfill. This means we can help to substantially reduce methane and other gas emissions for a better, cleaner environment.
