At the weekend the Plant Heritage Yorkshire Group visited RHS Harlow Carr, home to the Dryopteris National Plant Collection®.

Joined by Plant Heritage Chairman Roderick Newton, the group enjoyed exploring the garden and admiring the collection.

Making plans for the weekend? How about joining a garden visit, or heading to a National Plant Collection® open day?

There's some exciting trips planned this weekend including the Plant Heritage London Group group visiting the newly opened Queen Elizabeth II Garden at Regent's Park
There's also a trip in Norfolk to the Garden of Karen Rosebery at Yeoman's Cottage.

Everyone is welcome to visit a National Plant Collection® open day, take a look at the collections you could visit this weekend or visit our Events page to plan ahead. You could head to Wacks Wicked Plants in North Yorkshire to see their Pinguicula collection or head to Gloucestershire to see John's Brugmansia collection.

A new 2 acre garden created on the site of the parks derelict greenhouses, and designed with sustainability and wildlife friendliness in mind, it adds a tranquil space to bustling London.

This weekend there's a brand new Flower Show in North Wales featuring many of our holders. The at Llanbenwch will feature some beautiful floral display, plenty of plants to buy, gardening talks, some classic cars and loads of family entertainment.

We have some exciting news to share with you all, there are now officially 750 National Plant Collections® 🌿

Craig Rothwell is our 750th Collection Holder, he has a wonderful collection of Epipremnum (also known as Pothos or Devil's Ivy). Here are his top tips for growing these fantastic plants.
