Each year we care for over 2000 patients and their families both in our hospice and in their own homes, where over 80% of our care is delivered, enabling patient choice and the best quality of life.

Today is Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Awareness Day.

6 months after his MND diagnosis, Ben's MND nurse suggested involving the Hospice in his care. Like so many others who haven’t experienced hospice care, Ben was initially hesitant, viewing a hospice as a place where someone would only go in the final days of their life. It took some persuasion for him to visit the Hospice but, as soon as he did, he realised how wrong he'd been.
