The Military Village will return to Blue Light Weekend this year!

After becoming one of the standout additions to the event last year, it will once again celebrate the history, people and future of Britain’s armed forces.

Expect displays, exhibits, activities and plenty to explore across the weekend.

Look out for the sea displays at Blue Light Weekend 2026!

Our seafront setting is what makes Withernsea so special, and the sea-based action, featuring RNLI Withernsea and HM Coastguard Withernsea and more, is always a big part of the weekend.

Thank you to Edmundson Electrical - Hull Branch for sponsoring this year’s sea displays on Saturday, August 8.

We'll be there! 💙🧡

A four-year-old girl with terminal brain cancer will be given a “true Withernsea welcome” when she arrives in the town this Sunday as part of a special biker ride-in.

Little Indi was given nine to 12 months to live last September, and her family are trying to make as many special memories with her as possible.

A ride from Hull to Withernsea is being organised for Sunday, June 14, and local businesses and Withernsea Town Council mayor Cllr Kristina Richardson are calling on people to help give Indi and her family a memorable day out.
