Our Story
The idea is quite simple- We help the homeless and less fortunate in our local community, with compassion, empathy and support towards Independent living. We ask for donations from the local community and businesses which can be either food, clothing, toiletries, essential items or funds which can then be used to make life a little more bearable for people during bad times. We signpost to professional organisations to help with any of the issues which service users are dealing with before working towards re-homing for many. We provide education courses to help towards employ-ability and other courses to help with life skills. We provide over of 400 meals and over 1000 hot drinks every week.
Many people believe that we only help homeless people but that is not the case. We are here for anyone in our local community that have fallen on hard times or are struggling in one way or another.
The most amazing thing of all ............. this has all been achieved on a completely voluntary basis and 100% of donations has gone towards helping our service users. The support of the local people has been truly inspiring and we could not have achieved what we have without you. Thank you all, Spike x
