The Wisbech & District Camera Club had there 75th Annual General Meeting on Thursday 28th November 2024. As Now 75 Starting In January 1950 in Peckover House. Then at the Conservative Club and The Wisbech Football Club then in the Sports & Community Centre at the Wisbech St Mary and finished again in the Conservative Club Alexandra Road. It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that the Wisbech & District Camera Club has come to the end and finished.

The new Pat Goode Memorial Competition was held on Monday 11th November 2024 and judged David Steel DPAGB from the Cambridge Camera Club. Had 10 Clubs Entered at the Wisbech Football Club. Was again won by PICO with 152. 2nd was Deepings C.C. 144, 3rd was North Norfolk P.S 143, 4th was Ely P.C 139, 5th was Kings Lynn & District C.C. 137. 6th equal was Peterborough City C.C. 132 and the Wisbech & District C.C. 132, 8th was March C.C. 130, 9th was Peterborough P.S. 122 and finally 10th Spalding P.S. 121. The best PDI winner was 'Ready To Grasp' by Andy Gutteridge by PICO. The best Print winner was ' Brothers' by PICO Again.

David Hodgson has now got 3 Highly Commended with The Photographic Alliance Of Great Britain. In Dingwall October 2022 got 'Torres Del Paine Lake District' Highly Commended with Landscape. Also with Dingwall October 2023 got 'Rough Sea At Cornwall' Highly Commended with Landscape. The new Club in Great Western October 2024 'Guira Cuckoo's Preening' Highly Commended with Nature.

Our Annual 74th Exhibition on Octavia Hill Birthplace House with 18 Prints and will finished 14th September 2024 Very pleased our Vice Chairman Maurice Wright has done very well. Also very pleased the new Mayor of Wisbech Sidney Imafidon and he went for his best print 'Shadow Of Polos' from Martin Smart. Showing you some pictures for our special exhibition.

The Wisbech & District Camera Club is starting again on Monday 16th September 2024 and again we finish the end of April 2025. Still on the Conservative Club, 36 Alexandra Road. Still again will have some zoom meetings. Will now show you the new programme and love to see you again.

We then had our annual AGM on Monday 29th April 2024. Then after our AGM we then did our Annual Presentation Night with 26 Trophies. Showing you the 6 winners. The 1st one was with Michael Dawson with 1 trophies. The 2nd one was with Martin Smart with 3 trophies. The 3rd won was with David Hodgson with 4 trophies. The 4th one was with Judy Hodgson with 6 trophies. The 5th one was with Maurice Wright with 10 trophies and also special with the Bourlet Award. The final 6th one was with Ronald Whitehead with 2 trophies.
So now can let you know we will be starting again on Monday 9th September 2024 and still at the Conservative Club, Alexandra Road.

Our Annual Print Of The Year was held on Monday 8th April 2024 and still in the Conservative Club, Alexandra Road and the Judge was Paul Radden DPAGB.EFIAP.PSA4 from Hunstanton.
The Portrait & People Winner was 'German Soldier' by Judy Hodgson CPAGB.BPE5. The Creative Winner was 'Pencis with Lensball' by Martin Smart. The Open Monochrome was 'Science Museum Detail Valencia' by Maurice Wright LRPS. The Open Colour Winner was 'Art Science Museums, Valencia' again by Maurice Wright. The Landscape & Seascape Winner was 'Fist Light on Thume D**e Wind Pump' and again by Maurice Wright. The Natural History Winner was 'Holly Blue' by Michael Dawson.
So at the end the Judge went for the best Print with 'German Soldier' by Judy Hodgson.

Our annual AGM for the Annual General Meeting is peeing on Monday 29th April 2024. Still at the Conservative Club Alexandra Road and still starts at 7.30pm. So after the AGM finished we then give all our trophies to members presentation night. Just love to see you all there.

Had to PDI Of The Year on Monday 25th March 2024 and judged by Neil Malton from the Peterborough Photographic Society. The best PDI Of The Year and winning the Open Colour was 'Art and Science Museums' by Maurice Wright LRPS. The winning Landscape & Seascape was 'That Famous Castle' by Judy Hodgson CPAGB.BPE5*. The winning Open Mono was 'At The Waters Edge' again by Judy Hodgson. The Natural History winner was 'Godwit Taking Off again by Maurice Wright. The Portrait & People winner was 'Union Soldier' by Ronald Whitehead. The Creative winner was 'Two Forks and a Prism' by Martin Smart. Now showing you the top winners.
