Can you help? Wisbech Donations Hub, based here in the QMC, is looking for a Cooker and a Microwave to help a family who are fleeing from domestic violence. They are now safe, but have been given an empty home with nothing in it and are cooking meals for the whole family (Mum and kids) with just a kettle. If you could help by donating an unwanted or unused microwave or even a cooker, we would be extremely grateful.

Tae Kwon Do sessions every Monday and Friday evening here at the Queen Mary Centre.

The Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do was established by Mark Farnham in 1987. Since then we have been teaching and training the Korean martial art of Tae Kwon-Do. Designed to be an effective self defence system, Tae Kwon-Do can be practised by men, women and children of all ages. Our Schools offer the best in Tae Kwon-Do, offering general classes as well as the opportunity to take part in Gradings (belt promotions) and competitions. We can provide all the equipment required to carry out your Tae Kwon-Do training. We have 14 Schools across East Anglia. Many students choose to train at two or more of our Schools, and we find that this is very beneficial for those looking to learn and improve at a faster rate or just for convenience of proximity to work and home. https://www.markfarnhamtaekwondo.co.uk/

Pay-it-Forward! Help someone who is unable to afford a lunch. Pop in to the Queen Mary Centre at any time (Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm) and buy a Pay-it-Forward token for £3, then put it into the bowl. Then if someone comes to our Friday lunch club who can not afford to pay for it, they can take a token from the bowl and use that to pay for their lunch instead. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

HUNGRY? But can't afford lunch? Come along to the Queen Mary Centre's Community Lunch. It happens every Friday from 12pm. There is a Pay-It-Forward scheme where people have pre-paid for a lunch in exchange for a token. All you need to do is collect a token when you arrive and hand it to the organiser, who will give you a lunch for free (as it has already been paid for by someone else).
