Rookie Life Saving (7-13 years)

When: Friday, 7-8pm, St John's Beaumont, Old Windsor, SL4 2JN

The Rookie Lifeguard programme has been designed by water safety specialists at RLSS UK. It is designed to ensure that every child in the country has essential water skills to keep themselves safe and knowledge of what to do in an emergency. The programme features swimming and lifesaving skills supporte

d by water safety education, allowing participants to enjoy swimming as an activity and vitally, to protect their lives should an accident occur in or out of the water. All Instructors are CRB checked and Rookie Instructor Qualified. Senior Life Saving (13 years +)

Friday 8 – 9pm, St John's Beaumont, Old Windsor, SL4 2JN

This training includes the Lifesaving survive & save awards and pre-training for the NPLQ award. We are actively looking for volunteers to help run our Friday night training sessions! No experience needed and full training provided, message us if you’re interested in getting involved.

Bringing Drowning Prevention week to a close, we were at Englefield Green Village Fair this Saturday, taking the water safety message to people ahead of the next heat wave.

We also ran CRP, AED, choking and rope throwing sessions for members of the public to have a go at. We were also lucky enough to take the water safety message to local MP Jack Rankin MP - Working for Windsor, who later in the day presented us with our best-dressed charity stall award.

Very grateful to the Englefield Green Village Fair committee for providing us with the additional pitch to run the CPR, AED and choking sessions.
