While most of Windsor is tucked up at home on a wet Saturday night, our brilliant Windsor Street Angels volunteers are out there until 3am, providing a safe, warm and welcoming place for anyone who needs it.
Their Safety Hub offers somewhere to get warm and dry, have a hot drink or snack, charge a phone, call a taxi, wait safely for friends or simply have a chat. It also provides a much-needed place for our emergency services to take a break during a busy night.
And sometimes it’s the simplest things that make the biggest difference — a hot chocolate, a Pot Noodle, a drink of squash or a snack. ☕️❤️
We have an Amazon Wish List containing the everyday items our Street Angels regularly need. If you could add just one or two items to your next Amazon order, you’d be directly helping our volunteers look after people in Windsor through the night.

A massive THANK YOU to every one of our Street Angels who gives up their Saturday nights to help keep Windsor safe. You really are amazing. 💙

While the rain has been welcome I think we can all agree it's been pretty miserable outside today. Tonight our hub doors are open and we are sure we will have plenty of guests wanting a place of shelter, a place to be dry, have a warm drink and a snack, charge their phone.
We welcome about ten rough sleepers to our hub on a Saturday night from 22.30 - 3am. The hub is in the Baptist Church on Victoria Street and it is open for anyone who needs a place of safety. That might be whilst you wait for your taxi or whilst your wait for your friends.
It's a place where emergency workers come for a sit down break when they are lucky enough to get one.
Our hubs most popular item is squash and pot noodles although with the weather turning we are anticipating lots of hot chocolates tonight too.
Squash, hot chocolate and snacks like pot noodle are all on our Amazon wishlist https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/3RZPEDBX1WR8X?ref_=wl_share and we really do appreciate all of the items we receive.
