Be the voice of comfort when our wildlife needs it most. 📞💚

When a member of the public finds an injured hedgehog or a lost fox cub, they are often worried and unsure where to turn. That’s where you come in. As a Reception Volunteer, you are the very first point of contact–a calm, kind voice reassuring them that help is on the way.

If you have a compassionate heart and can spare one full day a week at our centre in Windlesham, we would love to welcome you to the family. You don't need expert wildlife knowledge to start; we provide full training. You just need to bring your kindness!

Every healing journey starts with a single phone call. 🦊🌱

Before our medical team can treat a patient, and before an animal can return to the wild, a vital connection has to be made. Our Reception Volunteers are the heartbeat of the hospital, answering calls, speaking kindly to worried finders, and coordinating admissions.

If you are friendly, calm under pressure, and love wildlife, you could make a real difference every single day.
