Save Me Teaming up with Mr Weebl 12 years ago for the badgers. A reminder: the cull isn’t working. The culling policy is driven by vested interests clinging to myths, legends, and flawed modelling rather than science. Culling has no meaningful impact on bovine TB.

It’s harrowing for farmers to go through this testing, and it happens time and time again. The test has its flaws, and this is the result. The current approach to bovine TB is fundamentally flawed, and only a new, holistic strategy will stop these scenes.

Bovine TB can be removed from your herd within three years, depending on a few factors that are within the farmer’s control. The government must change direction if they genuinely want to get on top of this disease and help farmers, badgers, and cattle. ST
