Evening all.
This is a tough post to write but after lots of chats amongst the team we have sadly decided that due to work and family commitments we are going to stand down.
The council have been notified but we ask for us to be able to put it out to the community.
If anyone would be interested in taking on the lights please get in touch with the town council.
We will be arranging to return the lights in the next week or so along with anything else we have from the parades ect.
We hope you will all be understanding in our decision and please know it's not been a easy one to make.
We are happy to pass any info we can onto the new team as we really do hope someone we come forward to carry on the lights.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who ever helped with the lights/ parade.
People who have donated over the years.
Friends and family who have stepped in to help at the last minute.
A big shout out to Andrew Levitt , Tizzy Hayton and Kevin who for the last few years.have been a fab part of the team.
Last but not least our kids Troy Lexi who have helped over the years and put up with mum and dad talking lights from about October and being dragged out to help what ever the weather 😂
Thankyou once again
Keith and nic.

Good afternoon everyone, thank you all for the love and support since we got a good lump of the lights put up last night.
We have had many inquiries about how people can donate to our fund to help us going forward.
Although our time and effort is free, insurance, public liability, bulbs, wire and dozens of other things all cost us money which we simply don't have.
For those of you who would like to make a donation, Nigel at Windermere post office now has a collection going so everyone has a central place to go if they would like to donate and help raise as much as we can.
We do the work for free for the community so all money raised will go back into lights fund to help maintain the lights and pay for future expenses.
Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🧑‍🎄

Merry Christmas Windermere it was a last minute decision that we wanted as a surprise but looks like the elves were spotted in their hi-vise jackets.
We got lots of great feed back while out, but sadly there's always a few who spoil it by throwing abuse when asked to wait a few minutes.
Huge thanks to Donna for our nice warm chips and chocolates really kept the team going as it was a cold night. Have a fabulous Christmas everyone x
