Good Morning Everyone :)
So sorry it's been a while since we've posted, but we are here! It's been a very wet and muddy winter with considerable flooding, and we've been busy reviewing our activities while settling in some fantastic Sparsholt College Foundation students who've been amazing helping with maintenance and generally tidying up.
Hello to a number of new followers - many thanks to Danny Chambers MP for visiting The Snug yesterday and posting about us here on FB :)
Quite a few of you have reached out to ask how we can help your children, young people and families. We offer some really relaxing, enjoyable activities, from nature based arts and crafts to growing fruit and herbs, to tending to the flower garden and maintaining the bug hotel. We do all this either one to one, or if suitable, in small groups of about 4 to 6. Occasionally, we'll hold a bigger event like a summer family picnic or our annual All Hallows celebration. We often let the children and young people lead on activities and they've developed everything from plays to interactive games! Our support is called a Social Prescription and we help our younger folk to develop social and other life skills, to navigate their way comfortably through life as they grow.
If you have contacted me since yesterday's visit - many thanks! I'll be getting around to replying to you all today :)
