“To be fond of dancing was a certain step towards falling in love”
- Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

We meet regularly to learn the Country Dances, Cotillions and Quadrilles danced by Jane Austen and her contemporaries. Jane lived most of her life in Hampshire and is buried in Wi******er Cathedral. She completed all of her novels in the village of Chawton, where we sometimes perform.
