We run free drop in feeding support with trained breastfeeding counsellors every wednesday, even in school holidays.You can expect to receive support, encouragement and reliable information - whether getting ready to breastfeed, establishing breastfeeding, continuing breastfeeding, expressing, mixed feeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, or stopping breastfeeding. Drop in anytime between 9:30 and midday, we're here to help.

Bumps and Babies is our weekly parent meet up. Come and join us for coffee and a chat with other parents, while your baby(s) play. The event is now held weekly at Thrive and Wild where there are soft mats and a range of toys for babies to play with. Suitable for newborn up to roughly 9 months, or pre-walkers. This event is free of charge to attend, although a donation is welcome to help support our local activities. Coffee and cake can be bought at the cafe.

We are looking for volunteers to join our team. We have a number of roles that could suit. But the main one we are looking for at the moment is someone to support our local marketing and communications work. This role is responsible for writing our regular email newsletter which helps us connect with families across Wi******er. If you think you could be a good fit for the role please send me a message with your phone number and we will give you a call to discuss it further and answer any questions you may have.

Volunteering with NCT is a huge help for local mums, it looks good on your CV, you can do it just while you're on maternity leave or for longer, some workplaces also offer volunteering leave during work hours, we welcome dads and grandparents to volunteer as well.
