What a lovely evening at the Wi******er Sports Awards last night! 🏆

Wi******er City Swimming Club was shortlisted in six of the nine categories — a fantastic achievement and something we’re incredibly proud of.

It was wonderful to see so many of Wi******er’s sports clubs come together to celebrate the hard work they do for our community: helping people get involved in sport, find their confidence and keep enjoying it.

A special mention to Liz, who was shortlisted for Volunteer of the Year. We’re so proud to see her dedication and contribution to the club recognised.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. And a big thank you to everyone who organised such a lovely evening, as well as the sponsors for supporting the Wi******er Sports Awards.

🖤 WHAT A WEEKEND FOR WI******ER CITY SWIMMING CLUB! 🖤

Our Swim Safe programme got underway at Oaklands Swimming Pool, with 25 children taking their first steps towards becoming more confident and capable in the water. We’re so pleased to have received support to make these sessions possible and can’t wait to see how everyone gets on over the next 12 weeks!

And what an incredible Autumn Qualifier! We welcomed more than 50 clubs and 900 swimmers for a brilliant weekend of racing. A huge thank you to all our volunteers and officials, and to every visiting club, swimmer and supporter who helped make the event such a success. 🍁

From the racing and the atmosphere to the cake sale, swim shop and raffle, it was a fantastic weekend for our club and community. Thank you, everyone! 👏🏼 🖤
