Emmaus Hampshire is a vibrant and thriving social enterprise community supporting homeless, vulnerable and socially excluded people. We provide a home and meaningful work in the shop, cafe, workshop and warehouse. With the help of the Emmaus team, formerly homeless Companions support each other to get back onto their feet and live independently. Companions say

🌟 A huge thank you to 7-year-old Max! 🌟

Max has now raised an incredible £1,200 for Emmaus Hampshire after taking on two amazing 5km fundraising challenges in support of people experiencing homelessness.

Inspired by a school assembly, Max decided he wanted to make a difference. After visiting our community, meeting Companions, and learning more about our work, his determination to help has only grown stronger.

He recently completed a 5km mud run (with “throat-high mud in places!”) and absolutely loved it — especially knowing he was running for such a meaningful cause. He even wore his Emmaus t-shirt with pride and told people all about us along the way.

Max asked what his fundraising will be used for — donations like his help support our work across Emmaus Hampshire, from providing homes and support for people rebuilding their lives, to essential items that make a real difference every day.

We are so grateful for Max’s kindness, energy and compassion, and we wish him the very best for his next adventure. A special thank you also to his mum Nicola for her lovely support and for sharing photos from the day. 💚
