We have an advisor coming to Milland Road from The Environment Centre on Tuesday 5th May from 10am - 12pm.

‘Hitting the Cold Spots’ is an affordable warmth programme which they deliver on behalf of .

Their advisor, Lizzy, can refer people on to their expert team of energy advisors/caseworkers for more in-depth support. Their caseworkers can help residents access grant funding for new heating systems, insulation, renewable technology and other energy efficiency measures, and resolve complex situations with gas and electricity suppliers.

Anybody able to donate any Easter eggs this Easter? If so, please check our pinned post for hub drop-off times and details.

You can also purchase at either Sainsbury’s Badger Farm, Sainsbury’s City Centre or Waitrose Weeke and pop them in the collection baskets after checkout 😊 as those donations come directly to us.

We’re always so grateful to for their support. They’re a small but dedicated team who keep us well-stocked with the essentials to ensure our clients are given access to hygiene.

Something that should be a right for everyone but is so often out of reach for people who are struggling financially.

We couldn’t do it with the help of The Hygiene Bank and all of the wonderful people and businesses who donate to them. So a massive thank you to all of you!

WOULD YOU EVER DO THIS? 🔥

On Friday, some brave souls (and soles) walked through the fire to raise money for and .

The guys from brought the fire. They set up outside our food hub in Winnall, and fundraising enthusiasts came along to challenge themselves whilst raising money for local charities.

We can’t wait to update you with the donation total once it’s all been collated, but for now enjoy this snapshot from the fiery night. Make sure you watch to the end to see our actual MAYOR taking on the hot embers 🙌

Santa has checked his list twice, and now we need you to check out our list. Ours isn’t about being naughty or nice - it’s about bringing dignity, comfort and a sense of normality to people in Wi******er who are facing a difficult Christmas.

As temperatures drop and energy costs continue to rise, many households are having to choose between heating their homes and buying food. For families already struggling financially, the festive season can feel so daunting. What should be a time of warmth, celebration and togetherness can instead become a period of stress, isolation and worry.

That’s why we’re asking for your help in filling our Christmas list. Festive treats might seem like small things, but they bring moments of joy and a reminder that the community hasn’t forgotten them.

With your support, we can make sure that no one in Wi******er has to face Christmas without a little comfort and kindness. And who knows, helping us tick off our list might even help keep your name firmly on Santa’s nice list.

Thank you for supporting your local community at a time when your generosity means more than ever.

BADGER FARM HUB 🚨

Just a friendly reminder that we now have a hub at the community centre in Badger Farm (Sainsburys car park).

It’s a client-facing hub which can facilitate food parcels on Mondays from 10am - 12:30pm. If you’re in need of a helping hand from us and can’t make it to one of our other hubs then this might be the spot for you!

Please share if you’re able 😊
