Join us at St Giles Hill Viewpoint for "Appreciating the Dawn Chorus" — a peaceful early-morning meet-up to enjoy and interpret birdsong with Tom Jordan of the Hampshire Ornithological Society. Parish Councils look after parks and recreation grounds. If we lose these to a remote new Unitary Authority there is a danger they will become neglected and forgotten - and then targets for developers. We urge all residents to participate in this consultation and support the proposal for Wi******er to have Parish Councils and retain ownership and control of our precious green and open spaces.
