Burning Barn Films

Burning Barn Films Burning Barn Films are a non-profit organisation, providing an opportunity for people from within the local community to gain filmmaking experience.

Burning Barn Films was formed by Jim Glaister in 2009 as a means of turning some of his short scripts into the reality of finished film. Working non-profit and with very little (if any) budget, BBF has managed to build up a portfolio of work that has enabled Jim and all his collaborators to push boundaries set by previous projects and advance as filmmakers. By doing so, it has enabled a number of

local actors and those interested in filmmaking to gain real experience in what it takes to shoot a movie. BBF determines to utilise a rota of local talent and offer it an opportunity to develop their skills. Some people only work on a single BBF project, while others keep coming back time and time again. There may be no payment available, but everyone involved in a BBF project will receive their own copy of the finished film on DVD (or file type of their choice). We are always looking for new collaborators, so if you have an interest in acting, writing, recording sound, using a camera, producing, script supervising, continuity, location hunting, etc. and are local to the Wi******er area we would love to hear from you. If you are experienced or interested in promotion or raising funds for a modest budget we would especially like to hear from you!
