Help us shape 21st century travel in Hampshire – an opportunity to shape a clean, healthy, fair and sustainable transport future. We are asking for views on the principles and vision of the Hampshire Local Transport Plan and have launched an online survey as part of a detailed engagement process. We want to hear from all Hampshire communities and those who represent them. We need your thoughts, your expertise and your local knowledge to help us formulate a transport policy fit for Hampshire now and for the future.

Excellent news!

Hampshire County Council has received news today (13 November 2020) that its bid has been successful for £3.28million of national funding to be used on a range of measures to create better spaces for people walking and cycling

It’s the most ambitious, but most urgent thing Hampshire has ever done.

Here's how our County Council wants to help us walk, cycle or use public transport, whether it’s to work, school, friends and family, shops, or leisure. For our health, our environment, and our planet.

They video’d their online Active Places Summit, but if you’re short of time, please watch at least one of these brilliant experts they asked to help:

- Designing for Walking, Jess Read: https://youtu.be/JrELwosyYd8?t=1016

If you have more time, here’s the whole thing, with shortcuts to each section:

- YouTube video. It’s all gold dust, but it's long, so here are some shortcuts to help:

Good Evening All!

Following a chat with a few Hampshire based Campaigners tonight, I've created a map of Campaign Groups that might be interested in improving Walking/Cycling provision in Hampshire, such as Transport Groups, School Streets Groups, Climate Action Network Groups, etc etc...

I was wondering if you could be kind enough to look at the map and see if you are aware of any in the Hampshire area that are missing?

Thank in advance
