On June 20th, we were delighted to have our Yateley Industries dance group perform at their Summer Fete! 🩰✨

The dancers, led by Amanda, kicked things off by guiding fete attendees through some of their go-to warm-ups and exercises. Afterwards, they performed a fantastic contemporary piece that the dancers created specifically for the crowd to enjoy!

We’ve been running this class for 2 years now, and it is truly amazing to see just how far these dancers have come. Huge congratulations to everyone involved! 👏🎉

Massive shoutout to Keeleigh for raising £705 for Move Momentum! 🙌

Our team member and dance teacher, Keeleigh, completed all three stages of Wi******er Round Table’s Pedal Paddle Pace: 20km cycle, 5km run and 2K kayak!

Thanks to her incredible effort and the generosity of everyone who sponsored her, she raised an amazing £705 to help us continue making dance accessible to more people in our community.

We missed Throwback Thursday, so today is Flashback Friday back to May when Amanda visited Greenbuttercup Dementia Services to deliver a dance workshop in the lead-up to Dementia Action Week. it was so much fun dancing with everyone. They loved “How everyone engaged with the instructor and joined in.” and said ”We'd all like to do it again!”

Last weekend we ran our Annual Liberate Dance Holiday Camp! The weekend was full of excitement, laughter and of course dancing!

On the Saturday we began learning our routines, and then did some crafting with the lovely Kerry!

On Sunday, we worked hard to film the routine - We cannot wait to show you all soon!

We would like to just give a big thank you to our amazing dance teachers Keeleigh, Maria, Daisy and Kerry for all the hard work they put in to make this possible, and for sharing the joy of Freedom!

Over the last few months, we’ve had the privilege again of collaborating on the revival of the incredible multi-arts project, "Finding the Words." The project uses poetry, music, and movement to celebrate the voices and histories of people living with dementia. This time, we were proud to take dance and movement into Basingfield Court Residential Care Home!

🎶 Louisa White & Joyful Jams CIC for providing sponsored places on her 3-day training course to support our practice delivering movement to those with dementia. Louisa’s 25 years of experience (including 15 in facilitating dementia arts) truly upskilled our facilitators, ensuring our project delivery was higher quality and more meaningful than ever.

The amazing Bluebird Care team have already joined one of our GEMS classes in Weeke and volunteered at our Community Platform on 26th June. We can't wait to see what we'll achieve together as they continue supporting our work in the local community. We're so excited to have you on board!

Thank you to all of those who attended our Move Momentum Community Platform 2026! We had an amazing day and managed to survive the heat!

Here's a few of our favourite snippets from the day!

On the day someone commented "“The show was absolutely fantastic, one of my favourites I've been to! There was a great range of performances that were all incredibly uplifting, joyous and inspiring; well done everyone!”

We would like to thank all of our performances for showcasing their amazing talents, as well as our guest performers: Blue Apple Theatre, Florian School of Dance & Multi Sports Club!

Lastly we would just like to thank our charity sponsors Gentian and Bluebird Care Wi******er, Eastleigh & Romsey, alongside any supporters and family of our performers and team.
