What a lovely Christmassy evening we had for our last meeting this term. Continuing Sheila’s tradition of singing at the local care home. 6 leaders and 15 guides and rangers shared a singalong of carols and then shared homemade gifts and lots of lovely conversation with the residence. I was so impressed with all of the girls who spoke to the residence with such interest and asked great questions about their lives. A lovely evening!

Big thankyou to everyone that paraded today for Remembrance.
Colehill Brownies made individual wreaths which were laid in the church around the wartime cross for Pte Lonsdale. A very special memory for the Colehill Community kept safe in St Michael's Church.

Huge thank you to the friends of Uddens and Cannon Hill Woodlands for hosting 2nd Colehill Guides last week supporting our Entomology and Biodiversity badges. We had a brilliant evening, learning about the many habitats the woodland offers and how we can enjoy the spaces whilst protecting and preserving them for future generations.

Colehill Brownies enjoyed an amazing "camp day" yesterday when they visited the Colehill Guides camp @ Foxlease Park.
They learnt all the skills they need for when they move on up to Guides and go to camp and earnt badges along the way.
They also had a lovely time trying out Archery, a first time experience for them all.

Foxlease Park was looking amazing and I feel sure that the Brownies will be keen to visit again.

The Colehill Guides are out at St Michael’s Church this morning helping with the children’s craft event taking place now from 10-12. Why not join us with your children for a free morning of crafts. Donations welcomed refreshments available.
