Meet Marshmallow! 🐾✨ This adorable kitten has a BIG personality and an even bigger love of life. Full of confidence, she dives into every adventure with enthusiasm and is always up for a new playtime challenge. 🐱💫

She’s incredibly sociable and adores being around people, soaking up attention like a little sunbeam. 🥰 Marshmallow is a pro at playtime — chasing, pouncing, and batting any toy she can find. If you’re looking for a fun, entertaining companion, she’s your girl! 🧶🎀

A few gentle notes: Marshmallow enjoys grooming and doesn’t mind being picked up for short cuddles. Like many young kittens, she can get a bit overstimulated when she’s really excited, so a calm, loving environment will help her shine even brighter. 🌟

Please note: we’re currently closed to walk-ins. If you’d like to welcome Marshmallow into your home, please apply through our website. 🖥️💙

Meet Nala 🐾✨ A beautiful girl looking for a quiet, relaxed home where she can blossom at her own pace.

Nala was understandably worried when she first arrived, but once she’s settled, her lovely personality shines through. She’s a little shy with new people or unfamiliar situations, but she loves human company, enjoys being talked to, and will happily seek out affection from people she trusts. She may even curl up on your lap for a short cuddle when the mood takes her. And as her confidence grows, she reveals a playful, fun side during interactive play 🎉💖

If you think you could be the purr-fect match for Nala, please apply through our website and we’ll be in touch about arranging a visit appointment. We’re currently closed to walk-ins, so online applications are the best way forward.

Meet Beau! 🐾💖

Beau is a beautiful girl with a big personality and plenty of energy! Energetic, playful, and loves interactive games – she’ll keep you on your toes and entertained from sunup to sundown. 🧶🎯 Her scratching post is a firm favourite, and she’s always ready for a new adventure or a cozy cuddle when the moment is right. 🪵🐱

Beau is confident, sociable, and enjoys human company, lap time, and being involved in everyday life. She can become overstimulated with too much attention and may nip if she’s had enough, so she’ll need owners who can read her signals and respect her boundaries. With a patient and attentive approach, she’ll make an amazing, loyal addition to the right home. 🫶🔎

Important notice: our centre is currently closed to meet the cat in person. If you’re interested, please apply online and we’ll be in touch to arrange an appointment. 📨🗓️

🎀 Meet Beau! 🎀

Beau is a beautiful girl with a big personality and plenty of energy. She’s active, playful, and loves interactive games and exploring new things. Her scratching post is a firm favourite, and she’s always ready for a fun play session or a cozy lap moment. 🐾💫

Confident and sociable, Beau enjoys human company and loves being involved in daily life. She can become overstimulated if she’s receiving too much attention at once, so she does best with owners who can read her signals and respect her boundaries. When she’s had enough, she’ll let you know, and that’s okay—she just wants a loving home that understands her.

If Beau sounds like the purr-ffect match, apply through our website and we’ll be in touch to arrange an appointment. Please note our centre is currently closed to walk-ins and only open for pre-booked appointments to meet cats. 📅🧡

💜 Thank You for Your Support! 💜

A huge thank you to everyone who responded to our recent appeal for scratching boards for the cats in our care.

We have been overwhelmed by your generosity and kindness, with so many wonderful parcels arriving and lots of donations being dropped off at the Centre. Thanks to your support, our cats now have plenty of scratching opportunities to help keep them happy, enriched and entertained.

It is always heartwarming to see how much our supporters care about the welfare of the cats, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to donate.

We've shared some photos of just a few of the scratching boards and donations we've received. We know our cats will thoroughly enjoy putting them to good use! 🐾

From all of us at Dorset Cat Centre, thank you so much for your continued support. It really does make a difference to the cats in our care. 💜🐱

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has sent kind messages and shown such understanding during our recent closure. Your support has meant a great deal to us.
This closure sadly followed an unexpected bereavement within our team, and we have remained closed to the public for a little while to give everyone the time and space they needed, and to enable us to focus on the cats in our care.
We plan to start welcoming visitors back to the Centre and, for the time being, we will be open by appointment only.
If you would like to visit us, we would kindly ask visitors to contact us in advance to arrange this.
Thank you once again for your patience, kindness and understanding as we take things gently 💜
