S*xual Health Advice for Dorset Children’s Foundation
Two of our fabulous Trusted Voices Champions, Lorraine from Swad Dorset (S*x With A Difference) and Patsy from The Dorset Children's Foundation, met at one of our networks, hit it off and decided they wanted to work together on support with sexual health.
So, after a series of online planning meetings between them and Hannah from Trusted Voices, Lorraine spent time with parent-carers at Dorset Children’s Foundation and shared information and advice with them about sexual health matters for their pre-teen and teenaged children.
The session was a great success and Patsy said: ‘Everyone got something out of it and we would very much to do this again. Lorraine is fantastic and the session was everything we asked for and more.’
Trusted Voices were so pleased to be able to fund this support and hope to support more of you in the future, in the ways that suit you best!

A bump in the road, but hopefully not the end of the road!
Our current funding runs until the end of March 2025. We have been working hard behind the scenes to find funding to continue the Trusted Voices project.
Over the past 3 years we’ve been able to reach people with essential health and care information to support their health and wellbeing, who may not have accessed this information previously.
Your unwavering support and engagement have been crucial in driving this initiative forward and making a meaningful impact in our communities.
Throughout the course of this project we have witnessed the power of collective effort in connecting communities and amplifying underrepresented voices. Together, we have built bridges, fostered understanding, and empowered individuals to share their stories and perspectives.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Your support has made a real difference, and we look forward to seeing the lasting impact of the Trusted Voices project in our communities.
We will keep you updated on our quest for funding to continue the project but there may well be a halt in communications for a while (eg this news and social media) whilst we seek funding. For now … fingers crossed.

Do read our latest, and penultimate, newsletter here if you missed it last week -
