Another lively and productive morning at The Merlin, with plenty of learning, sharp pitches and valuable conversations.

This week, Kyle Watt went all Disney with his Education Slot on “60 seconds”, helping the room focus on how to target our perfect specific and make it easier for fellow members to refer us.

Our feature presentation came from James Riley Awm of Apogee Wealth Management. James gave us a valuable insight into the financial services his company provides and how they help clients plan, protect and grow their wealth.

This week, Tony Turner treated us to an excellent Education Slot all about Feature Presentations – reminding us that this is our opportunity to train our sales force: the room. A great feature presentation helps fellow members understand exactly who we help, what we do and how to refer us with confidence.

Our feature presentation was delivered by James Bostock of Josolyne LLP. James gave us an overview of the accountancy services his company provides, before putting the room to the test with an entertaining quiz on the subject of VAT.

This week, Laura Corrigan delivered an excellent Education Slot, sharing practical tips on the do’s and don’ts of presentations – helping us all improve how we communicate and engage with the room.

Our feature presentation was a little different this week, delivered by our Chapter’s Director Consultant, Kyle Watt. Kyle asked the room a simple but powerful question: “Why did we choose Wilmslow?” The overwhelming response – the energy, encouragement and economics within the room – a great reflection of what makes the chapter so strong.

Tom gave the room a comprehensive overview of his products and services, including remanufactured and recycled printer cartridges, specialty papers, general office supplies, and printer consumables such as drums and belts – all backed up with expert, free advice.
