Willingham School Association The ‘WSA’ provides invaluable support to Willingham School through fundraising and running events. We are always looking for new ways to raise money.

The Willingham School Association (WSA) is made up of parents, carers, staff and governors of the school. As a charity, the WSA provides invaluable support to the school through organising many fundraising events. The money raised provides extra facilities and equipment for the pupils. The WSA were instrumental in building the Children's play area and have provided

considerable funding for the Library, ICT Suites and Swimming Pool, Theatre Lighting and Sound equipment, Trim Trail and Pirate Ship. Over recent years funds raised by WSA have also provided coaches for school trips as well as supporting cookery lessons. Each year the WSA raises about £10000, and we hope to achieve similar success over the coming year. If you have any suggestions or ideas please contact a committee member, send us a message, or drop a note into the School Office and they will ensure it gets passed on.

The shed the WSA use to store equipment for maximising fundraising at events was damaged beyond repair last November. It is an on going project to try to replace it on better foundations. We're doing it in stages and relying on donations, goodwill and volunteers to make it happen as funds for such things are scarse.
Thank you to Northstowe Landscaping Services for the donation of slabs to stand the shed on when we manage to get it..

The pool is ready and bookings have re-opened for after-school swimming with the WSA!
Just £2.50 per child. Open every day except Thursdays (weather and volunteer permitting).
Please note.....
- Parents/carers must attend with their child(ren).
- Booking is acceptance of the pool rules (on the school website).
- Provide the name of the child(ren) and school year in the section marked "contact info for booking and order information only" - NOT YOURS (eg David Jones Year 3)

We'll be at the Fen Gallop on the rec in the morning and at the village fete over at the Ploughman hall in the afternoon with an overlap at lunchtime.
