We were very glad that we could put on our first Opera (rather more Operetta or even Soap than Grand) last Saturday for our guest who all joined in with everything.

The Poems various, warm Sausage Rolls and Chocolate cake all went down very well with everyone.

Our next Café on 14th March will be a "Juke Box Jury" when we'll have a Karaoke singalong. Thanks you all once again for your support, even if you can't be there each time.

Please join us on Saturday for the gripping tale of Valentino, Griselda, the Elephant and the Trapeze.

Thanks to all who were able to come along to help and our guests to enjoy our café.
We had 12 guests who all managed to cope with the somewhat confusing tale and songs of Barbie and Ken - Could one almost think of it as light opera?
We were very pleased and appreciative that Ed Green was able to join us and nobly join in the songs for the second half, despite being thrown in the deep end without warning!
Our next café is on Saturday, November 8, when we will probably have a bingo session in the middle section.

Another fantastic morning at our Memory Café, entertainment by Charle Chaplin who was so good and news and poetry by our own Steve Couper. As usual a great selections of cakes and savouries were offered. A big thank you to our volunteers for their baking skills and for those that made the morning and lunch run so well, more information on Over Memory Café

Thank you so much to all who were able to come to the Cafe today. It went well in it's normal chaotic way, our guests, who joined in with everything, including the classical music quiz, shook tambourines enthusiastically for 'The Memory Box Blue Danube' song that Jan had written.

Our next Cafe (Folk and Flower Power ) is on Saturday, September 13.

Thanks again to everyone in the team for all your help, support and having a sense of humour!
