Wigan & District Speakers Club - Association Of Speakers Clubs Wigan & District Speakers Club is a member of the ASC (association of speakers clubs) The speaking season generally runs from September through to May.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month during this period. We arrive at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start, finishing at around 9.30pm. We are a mixed group of people all of whom have an interest in public speaking. There are varying motives for joining the group for some it is a pleasure; speaking comes naturally & practice in front of an audience is all that is needed yet for others it is the

first daunting step to a road to self-improvement & confidence building, whatever your reason new members are encouraged & are always welcome at the club! Other speakers clubs you may be interested in within the North Pennine area:
