🌍🚲 Looking back at last month’s Wigan Youth Climate Summit! 🧡🌻

Last month, the Wigan Cycle Project attended the Wigan Youth Climate Summit at The Edge, bringing together young people from across Wigan and Leigh to explore climate change, sustainability and the difference we can make in our communities.

It was a great opportunity for the Cycle Project to showcase the work they do and demonstrate how repairing and reusing bikes can have a positive impact on both people and the environment.

At Rebuild with Hope, we absolutely love working alongside and supporting the Cycle Project. Their work goes far beyond sustainability, creating opportunities for people to learn new skills, access training, build confidence and develop pathways towards employment.

With an incredible 750 bikes kept in use so far in 2026, it’s a brilliant example of how environmental sustainability and creating opportunities for people can go hand in hand. ♻️🚴🏼‍♂️

We’re really proud of the partnership we’ve built and the work being done to make a difference across our communities. 🫶🏻

Events like the Wigan Youth Climate Summit are a fantastic opportunity to share this work with the next generation and show how local projects can contribute to a more sustainable future.

A big well done to Gordon and the Cycle Project team for another great event, and thank you to Wigan Council, FCC Environmental and everyone involved in making it happen! 🚵🏻‍♀️🔧🌱

6 WEEKS TO GO! 👀✨

We’re officially just six weeks away from Love Reclaimed: Winter Edition!

At the end of last month, some of our lovely ladies stopped by for a fashion show try-on, getting stuck into our collection and starting to piece together some of the looks you’ll see on the catwalk.

And we have to say… we’re already obsessed with some of these outfits!

So, here’s a little behind-the-scenes sneak peek at what we got up to. There’s still plenty more to come, but seeing some of the outfits together has made us even more excited for the fashion show.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, tried on outfits and helped us start bringing it all together. 🧡

Six weeks to go… we can’t wait!

Working Together in Wrexham

Steve and Gemma recently caught up with Ali, Community Champion at Tesco Wrexham.

It was a great opportunity to chat about the surplus food donations we receive from Tesco and, importantly, share how that food is being used to support people within the local community.

Through our work with the Wrexham Outreach Team, surplus food is distributed to people who need it in Queen’s Square, helping make sure good food is put to use within Wrexham.

A big thank you to Ali and the Tesco team for their continued donations and support. Partnerships like this help us work alongside other local organisations and make sure available resources reach people who can benefit from them.

🧡 Exciting Changes Are Happening at RBWH Wrexham!

You may notice things looking a little different in our Wrexham store at the moment as we start making space upstairs for our new Community Hub!

As part of the changes, we’re moving our retail stock downstairs and have even created an extension of our shop floor within our warehouse area, which is now open for customers to browse.

There’s still plenty of great-quality, affordable stock to discover, so make sure you have a look around the new area when you visit!

We’re really excited about what’s taking shape upstairs and what our new Community Hub will bring to Wrexham. We’ll be sharing plenty more updates as things progress.
