ENV Graphics: Gold Sponsors of Rebuild With Hope

We’re proud to recognise ENV Graphics as Gold Sponsors of Rebuild With Hope.

ENV Graphics have continued to support our mission by helping transform our Community Hub through the design, printing, and installation of signage throughout the space. Their work has helped create a more welcoming, accessible, and easy-to-navigate environment for everyone who visits.

From the Cycle Project and Warm Space to our pre-loved clothing and furniture areas, the new signage has brought the whole hub together and helped make the space feel more like a true community hub than ever before.

This support was provided completely free of charge through the Match My Project initiative, showing once again their commitment to giving back and supporting the local community.

The quality, professionalism, and generosity from the ENV Graphics team has been incredible from start to finish, and we’re so grateful for everything they’ve done to support our work.

Thank you, ENV Graphics.

Last week, we welcomed the amazing team from The Heaton Group for a fantastic Corporate Volunteer Day!

The day started with a Social Media & Marketing brainstorm in their brilliant Co working space, Weave; aligning business objectives with audiences, exploring channel mix opportunities, and sharing creative content ideas.

Then the team rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in at our Standishgate store, helping with debranding and organising stock.

Days like this are so valuable. They’re a brilliant way to share skills, strengthen partnerships, and help more businesses understand the impact of the work we do at RBWH.

A huge thank you to The Heaton Group for your time, energy and continued support! Such a genuine team of lovely people, and we’re incredibly grateful to work alongside you!

If your business is interested in volunteering with us, please contact [email protected]

We recently had the pleasure of supporting the “Love Reclaimed” event at Factory Floor Bar, Cotton Works, Wigan, providing security for the Rebuild with Hope Foundation, free of charge. ❤️

The venue is incredible, a vibrant space at the heart of Wigan’s regeneration, bringing people together to live, work, eat, and socialise. And the real highlight? Supporting such an amazing cause and the communities that need it most.

At Radius Security, this is what it’s all about:
✔ Supporting local initiatives
✔ Giving back where it matters
✔ Playing a small part in something much bigger

Big thanks to everyone involved, we can’t wait to be back!

🚲♻️ Reflecting on the fantastic day at the Cycle Three Sisters event ♻️🚲

It was brilliant to see such a great turnout at the Three Sisters event the other week, with so many people enjoying cycling, spending time together, and stopping by to chat with the Cycle Project throughout the day. 🫶🏻

The event created some really positive conversations around cycling, sustainability, active travel, and the importance of making bike maintenance and repairs more accessible within the community. 🚴🏽‍♂️🌍🔧

It was also lovely to see so many families and young people getting involved and taking an interest in learning more about bikes and maintenance skills. ⚙️

We’re really proud to work in partnership with the Cycle Project and to have them based within our Community Hub. Days like this are such an important opportunity to let people know where they can find the project and how they can get involved; whether that’s through affordable bikes and repairs, our volunteer opportunities, Build a Bike workshops, or simply learning practical skills that can be carried forward for years to come. 🧡

Having access to these kinds of opportunities locally can make such a difference, not only in keeping people active and connected, but also in helping people build confidence, learn new skills, and choose more sustainable ways of travelling. 🚴🏻🌱

A huge thank you to Be Well Wigan for hosting such a well-run event, and to Gordon, our Reuse & Recycle Lead at Rebuild with Hope, for continuing to support and run the Cycle Project and the opportunities it creates within the community! 🙌🏾

April Recap - and we weren’t fooling around!

We kicked things off with our very first Love Reclaimed event, and what a success it was. Built around second chances, sustainability and collaboration, it was incredible to see so many people come together to support the vision behind the event.

A huge congratulations to Billy, our Digital Apprentice, who achieved a distinction; a brilliant achievement and one we’re incredibly proud of.

We were also honoured to be nominated for Charity of the Year at the Wigan Borough Business Awards.

A massive well done to our amazing Programmes Lead, Kait, who stepped up to raise money for RBWH and won!

The Cycle Project also hosted a pop-up event in Wigan Town Centre in partnership with Greater Manchester Police’s Wigan Town Centre Neighbourhood team.

We had the opportunity to speak at Cottonworks’ Friday Club at Feast at the Mills and share more about the work we do. Thank you to everyone who came along to support us.

A big thank you as well to the Wigan Supporting Skills and Futures Team for inviting us to their awards event.

For Earth Day, we celebrated the amazing work carried out through our Reuse Programme and the positive impact sustainability and reuse continue to make.

We’re also pleased to share that our RBWH Wrexham Café is now registered with FareShare UK, helping us reduce food waste while supporting our café and wider community.

We also visited the final night of the Love Reclaimed exhibition at Kawa’s, curated by Ey Up!

We welcomed Sam and the young people from Genuine Futures Boss Your Future Bolton to support a future community hub project.

This month we also filmed content for Wigan Council’s Mental Health Awareness Week campaign alongside My ND Space CIC, PadelParx and Mancave Gentleman’s Grooming.

Kait and John also visited HMP Lancaster Farms for an employability-focused engagement session.

To round off the month, our Wrexham team enjoyed a well-deserved night out at Tenpin Bowling & Arcade.

As always, this is just a snapshot of another busy month at RBWH, with plenty more happening behind the scenes.

🌿🚴‍♂️ Mental Health Awareness Week - A Message from Wigan Cycle Project in partnership with Rebuild With Hope Wigan

As we come to the end of Mental Health Awareness Week, we’ve taken time to pause rather than post.

The cycling community in Wigan has been carrying a heavy heart following the tragic loss of a cyclist recently. Our deepest condolences go to their family, friends, loved ones, and to everyone in the community and emergency services who have been affected.

In moments like this, Wigan shows its true character - a community that comes together in solidarity, compassion, and strength.

Cycling has always been more than movement. It’s freedom, connection, and a way to breathe again when life feels heavy. Wigan is the largest urban green space in the UK, and there is no better way to experience its beauty, calm, and open spaces than on a bicycle. Nature and movement are powerful tools for our mental wellbeing and they’re right here on our doorstep.

This week is a reminder to look after ourselves and each other.

Check in on your fellow cyclists.

Ride together.

Talk openly.

Be present for the people around you.

Su***de remains one of the biggest killers in our nation, and too many people struggle in silence. We need more mentally healthy people, more safe spaces, and more moments of connection and cycling can be one of those lifelines.

As professional cyclist Phil Gaimon once said:
“On the bike, the World gets quiet enough that you can hear yourself again.”

Let’s keep looking out for one another - on the road, on the trails, and in life.

If you’re struggling, please reach out. You’re not alone, and this community is stronger when we ride together. The kettle is always on at The Cycle Project and we're always here for a chat 💚🚴‍♀️
