🇬🇧 WIGAN BOROUGH REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 2026 🇬🇧
🌹 Rememberance Sunday Parade.
At 10:00am, the procession assembles in the Market Square/Council car park on Cross Street, Hindley. At 10:40am, the procession leaves the assembly point and proceeds along Morris Street to Wigan Road, continuing to the War Memorial on the corner of Atherton Road and Liverpool Road, after the wreath laying a service will be held at St Peter's Church.
After the service the parade then proceeds along Atherton Road then turns into George Street and continues along Chapel Green Road, turning left onto Bridge Street, continuing along Market Street, turning right onto Cross Street, left onto Morris Street and ending at the Town Hall car park for the National Anthem and dispersal. Hindley Veterans will then be hosting an event day in the Market Tavern, Market Street, Hindley. All are welcome to attend, for food, music and games !!!
