When 15th St Helen’s went to Extoree at Gilwell the challenge was thrown down to “go home and deliver the same in your district”

Extoree in 1982 delivered equal access and full integration for scouts in a way that didn’t become mainstream in general education until decades later

St Helens district met the challenge and Camporee was held at Bispham Hall in 1985 - an amazing week long event

Scouting fellowship
So very special 🙌

Thank you to all the teams who joined the Cub Mudder campfire tonight

We hope you had an amazing time

Best comment “wow this is miles better than forest school” - we’ll take that ☺️ (although we know some amazing forest school people who we know do fabulous things Nomad Rangers 💕)

Shout out to the leaders who stayed late, or are staying over, and to Team Bispham volunteers for serving on and sorting the fire 🔥 and leading the songs.

Cub Mudder Race 2026 was epic 🙌

We had 16 seasons in an hour today but you know what really matters? Hearing the cubs say “that was the best thing ever”🥹☺️

Thank you to all the leaders who gave their time 🕰️ today to make sure their cubs had a great day ❤️. You’re amazing

Thank you to Team Bispham who gave their weekend to make this happen ☺️

Feedback is a gift so any ideas on how to make it even better in 2027 email [email protected]

The full timings from today’s race will be published before 12 noon tomorrow ☺️

We had five teams sub 9 minutes which was incredible

However we can only have one winner 🥇

Our overall winner for the cub mudder 2026 race was 15th St Helens St Andrews. Congratulations 🙌

To everyone who is coming to the cub mudder 🔥 campfire see you for s’mores shortly 🙌
