Where are you heading off to with the children this summer ? What are your top tips for free activities or places to visit? SWAP's Shelagh recommends Bolton Museum ! How will you make the most of free bus travel for children?

From 1-31 August, children aged 5-15 can travel FREE on all buses across Greater Manchester as part of the government’s Great British Savings scheme.

Where will your summer adventures take you?

Good afternoon. One of our young asylum seekers has had his mobile phone stolen. Does anyone have a spare mobile phone ? He cannot communicate with the Home Office or his solicitor. Thanks

Great day at SWAP, celebrating refugee women and their valued contribution.

SWAP has been welcoming refugees to our Borough for over twenty years, and we know that the majority of people want to provide a warm welcome to those in need. However, the UK is witnessing a growing anti asylum and refugee movement, who often lie, exaggerate and manipulate the truth in order to create division. Now is the time to stand in solidarity, and we urge all our friends and followers to join the Wigan Solidarity Protest this Saturday. See poster for details, and see you there.
