For the Remembrance Sunday events we were invited by Wigan Athletic Football club to be part of their pre-match activities. We managed to engage with plenty of fans, loads of kids and even a huge Wigan Pie who passed the Observation Challenge!! We also raised a few quid for the Central Lancashire Parachute Regiment Association. Thanks to for the invite.

We had a lovely day at Wigan Council’s D-Day Remembrance Day. Loads of interest and even my Grandkids came to see us.

Well it was a hard weekend at No Man’s Land due to storm Kathleen putting in a guest appearance 😳 We managed to get to chat with a few people on the Saturday before the organisers were forced to close early and cancel the Sunday. Was such a pity as there were so many diverse groups from all periods of history. Hopefully the weather gods will be kinder to us next year.

So this weekend we were supporting another Living History group who portray Fallschirmjäger as they learnt the tactics of operating and fighting in built up areas. We portrayed a group of Partisans as part of the scenario.

We were guests at 316 Squadron ATC and gave a presentation on Sniper Systems 1915-2015. Packed a lot in to the evening and hopefully the cadets took something of interest away.
