As we are moving into the festive period, many service opening hours will look a bit different. Here are some useful numbers that might be helpful over the coming weeks

Chester Zoo are offering £1 tickets to visit between 17th December and 31st December who are receiving Universal Credit - for more information check out their website

We're offering those currently on Universal Credit the chance to bring their family to the zoo for just £1 per person over the Christmas period. Book Universal Credit tickets for Chester Zoo online.

Next week our opening hours will be a little different. We will close at 3:30pm on Wednesday 24th December, and will remain closed on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th December. We will re-open on Saturday morning for our usual SMART meeting. Over the coming days we will keep you updated with support available in the community during the festive period, including mutual aid meetings on Christmas day and Boxing day. Don't forget to check your pharmacy opening times if you regularly collect medication, and make sure you have enough of your regular GP medications.

Many of us know just how amazing Macmillan nurses are, supporting individuals and their loved ones who are living with cancer. To help their fundraising, this Friday 26th September, all cash donations made to our café, The Kitchen Table, will be donated to Macmillan cancer support. Come along, grab some food, and let’s raise some money for a brilliant cause together! 💚

On Saturday CGL Halton staff and service users spent the day in Wolverhamption at Faces & Voices of Recovery UK 2025 Recovery Walk! Next year will mark the 10th anniversary since the walk was hosted by Halton!
