What a fantastic weekend of adventure! 🌊🏕️

Two of our Scouts Ben and Mason and Sophie, one of our brilliant Young Leaders are currently away on a District Explorer camp, at the district Clogwyn centre over in beautiful Bangor.

They’ve spent the day out in the fresh air exploring the beach, making memories, and picking up even more . We absolutely love seeing our young people getting out there, embracing the elements, and representing the group so well alongside the rest of the district!

What an absolutely brilliant day of strategy, miles walked, and non-stop teamwork. From tracking down properties and statues to starring in "The Asda" blockbuster videos, our Scouts, Explorers, and Rangers have done themselves proud.
To wrap up the Widnes Monopoly Run 2026, we have put together one giant master album featuring every single photo captured by our teams today. 📸🗺️

For the final Photo Challenge of today's Widnes Monopoly Run, we set our teams one last mission: track down a local statue and get a team picture alongside it! 🗺️🏃‍♀️

Our Scouts, Explorers, and Rangers definitely didn't disappoint. From historic hometown figures to familiar local landmarks, they found some brilliant spots across town to freeze the action and snap their final team photos of the day. It was the perfect way to capture some amazing memories before the clock ran out on the game! ⏱️✨

🗣️🎥 "Going to The Asda, are we?" 🎥🗣️

Get ready for Challenge Two of the Widnes Monopoly Run! 🎲 For this task, we asked our teams to get in front of the camera and make a video using their very best local lingo.

It turns out great minds think alike, because almost all of our Scouts, Explorers, and Rangers settled on one absolute hometown classic: "The Asda!" 🛒😂

Forget just "Asda"—in this town, it’s a proper noun! Our teams absolutely smashed it with their dead funny acting and brilliant teamwork. We clearly have some right stars in the making! 🌟

🎩💰 The bank is closed, the board is cleared, and the results are IN! 💰🎩

What an absolutely incredible day at Widnes Monopoly Run! Our Scouts, Explorers, and Rangers hit the streets and absolutely smashed it.

As a collective, our teams racked up a massive 151 check-ins across 31 properties, leaving only ONE single location unvisited on the entire board! 🤯🗺️

A huge congratulations to our podium finishers who banked the most cash:

🥇 1st Place: The Traitors (4th Widnes Young Leaders) – £9,595 🥈 2nd Place: Team Bluey (4th Widnes Scouts) – £4,055 🥉 3rd Place: The Valkeries (5th Widnes Rangers) – £3,335

⭐ Special Shoutout: We also had an epic tie for the top Quiz! A massive well done to Team Bandit (4th Widnes Scouts) and The Valkeries (5th Widnes Rangers) who both scored a perfect 31/31! 🎯👏

Every single team showed brilliant teamwork, navigation, and determination today. We are so proud of you all.

Today, the town is our game board! 🗺️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Our amazing young people from 4th Widnes, 10th Widnes, Aquila, and 5th Widnes Rangers have hit the streets in full force for today's Widnes Monopoly Run!

They are putting their navigation skills, teamwork, and stamina to the ultimate test. Armed with their maps and tech, our Scouts, Explorers, and Rangers are racing against the clock to check into real-world locations, complete challenges, and rack up as many points as possible before time runs out. 📍📱

It is fantastic to see our local Scouting and Guiding units teaming up, exploring the community, and building brilliant skills for life along the way.
