We are incredibly proud to share that Scottish Care has won the Workforce North Award for Innovative Approaches to Talent Attraction and Development, presented by Skills Development Scotland, at the Prosper Highlands & Islands Business Excellence Awards!

Our Career & Attraction Lead, Laura, picked up the award and dedicated it to all the care providers across the Highlands. She said, "Winning this award isnt about one person, or Scottish Care alone. None of this would have been possible without the fantastic care providers I have the privilage of working with everyday."

A kind-hearted Alness company has made a generous donation to care homes in Invergordon, Strathpeffer, Dornoch and Muir of Ord.

We were delighted to work with United Infrastructure based in Alness this week, who generously donated four air conditioning units to care homes in the local area, to help staff and residents keep cool during the warm weather!

Not only did United Infrastructure make the donation, they also offered to deliver and set up the units with two of their staff volunteering their time.

We are delighted to see the homes already feeling the benefit of the air conditioning as temperatures rise!

Huge thank you to United Infrastructure and SSEN for such a generous & meaningful donation 💚

The receiving homes were Oversteps care Home in Dornoch, Mull Hall Care Home in Invergordon, Strathallan House in Strathpeffer and Fairburn House near Muir of Ord!
