We are closing at 11.15am on Thursday 18th.
We are having a staff outing with the Hearing and Sight Loss Support Group. Batteries are available at CGH. Thurso centre is open from 10am till 2pm on Friday 19th.

Join volunteer Hearpeers Mentor Joel for a free online webinar filled with practical advice and real-life travel experience. During the session, Joel will share helpful tips, useful reminders, and personal insights on travelling with hearing devices, including navigating airports, security checks, and international journeys

We will be closed on Wednesday 6th May in the Thurso office for staff training. Wick office will be open as normal that day from 10am until 2pm.
Batteries can be sourced at Dunbar hospital if required urgently.

The previous Macular Society group, started by Eric Farquhar, provided valuable support to many people in the community. Unfortunately, it became increasingly difficult for the group to continue due to a lack of office bearers.
To ensure local support could continue, Hearing and Sight Care have now taken over the running of the group. The group has been relaunched under a new name, with a refreshed approach that is more inclusive, welcoming people with a wider range of sight and hearing conditions, as well as their families and carers.
We look forward to continuing a supportive, friendly group that continues the spirit of the original while expanding opportunities for connection and support.
