The kind things you do often without realising can have a big impact on others.
We often hear out volunteers say “I just go round, have a cuppa, chat, and a play with the kids, I think I get more from visiting than the family does”…but sometimes that volunteer might be the only person to visit them all week.
Our families tell us how their volunteer is the one reliable, consistent presence in their lives.
Their volunteer isn’t there out of obligation, or because it’s their job. They are there because they want to be there, they want to help, because they care.
Society has changed, but our need for human contact hasn’t. Become the difference in a family’s lives here in Caithness.
