A HUGE thank you to the team from the environment agency, parish council, PTA members, gardeners club and various parent volunteers for making stage one of the sensory garden happen!
Last Wednesday we got together as a community and broke ground to refresh the sensory garden with new spring plants, a few musical starters for our planned funky fungi forest, dens, stepping stones, gorgeous new bird and bee watering stations and bird feeders and an awesome mag post to allow our budding nature scientists a better view of their finds.
Mark Lewis provided the very exciting stepping stones which should be properly installed within the week!
The offers of help keep coming and our amazing community has since pledged more money for native planting and expertise in the garden.
The children are being incredibly patient, respecting the bunting while the new plants bed in but on the day showed their enthusiasm for the stepping stones addition and in particular our new frog guiro!
We look forward to being able to let them in to explore!!
Thank you everyone π
