A big thank you to everyone who made Whitstable Repair Cafe a success on 9th May 🥇. It was one of those days when lots of things couldn’t be repaired ☹️. Thank you to our customers anyway for checking with our repairers if repairs were possible - always worth a try!

On a positive note, our talented team of repairers successfully repaired:

* 1 garden item 🪏
* 3 items of clothing👖
* 4 electrical items ⚡️
* 2 household gadgets 🪣
* 1 gorgeous antique teddy bear 🧸
* 3 ornaments🏺
* 1 bicycle 🚲

The repair of the day was a wind-up radio, complete with its own solar panel - a big hit with the repair team 😊.

The team of volunteers from Whitstable and District Soroptimist International club
sigbi.org/whitstable and the talented repairers will be ready to repair:

* tools and kitchen knife sharpening
* small electrical items
* furniture
* clothes and accessories
* jewellery
* ceramics
* toys
* bicycles

Our busy time is 10.00 am to 11.30 am, it’s quieter between 11.30 am and 1.00 pm. Donations please for repaired items.
