Happy Easter! Have you made an Easter tree? Just cut and decorate a branch of hawthorn or cherry plum 🌱
It’s the perfect weekend to lay down a thick mulch of well-rotted compost (or wood chip or even grass cuttings) – it will help retain the moisture in the soil which will reduce the need for watering, and keep weeds down 🌳

Whitstable Tree Wardens are part of a national volunteer network who are working to champion trees in and around Whitstable in Kent, through organising educational and maintenance activities, partnering with other organisations, schools, and the local authority to increase the number of trees. Our work will help meet the challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss and threats to water security.
