Rising Sun Emergency Services Family Fun Day (not a scouting event but might fill some time during half term at the end of May)

On Tuesday 26 May 2026, 11am–2pm, the Rising Sun Centre, North Tyneside, will host a free community event bringing together local police, fire service, ambulance service and RNLI.

The event will include:

Emergency vehicle displays and live demonstrations
Opportunities to speak with local officers and partner agencies
Mounted police attendance
Police dog section
Family activities such as a bouncy castle, face painting, ice cream and cake stall
On‑site café and children’s play park

Follow us this December and be part of the fun as we team up with the 15th Whitley Bay Scout Group and the 19th Whitley Bay Earsdon to challenge our Cubs and their families this festive season.
