Rising Sun Emergency Services Family Fun Day (not a scouting event but might fill some time during half term at the end of May)

On Tuesday 26 May 2026, 11am–2pm, the Rising Sun Centre, North Tyneside, will host a free community event bringing together local police, fire service, ambulance service and RNLI.

The event will include:

Emergency vehicle displays and live demonstrations
Opportunities to speak with local officers and partner agencies
Mounted police attendance
Police dog section
Family activities such as a bouncy castle, face painting, ice cream and cake stall
On‑site café and children’s play park
