Death & Rebirth ⭐️✨🌟💫
Today’s message comes from one of my favourite cards in the tarot.
It’s not a card some people like, but there is so much more to this card than the word death itself.
If we look at the shadow meaning of the Death card, it’s one of the most misunderstood and avoided in the entire tarot
The shadow of the Death card is the part of you that refuses to die, but not in the physical sense.
It is the part of you that clings to an outdated identity, fears becoming unrecognisable, or tries to resurrect what was already meant to be buried.
It’s the version of you that no longer exists but still tries to influence your choices, it’s the version of you that whispers old fears, it’s the version of you that repeats the old stories, it’s the version of you that pulls you back into old patterns, or even convinces you that change is unsafe.
The Death card is not about loss. It’s about permission.
Permission to stop performing, to stop pretending, to stop carrying what was never yours, to stop being loyal to your old self.
What identity are you clinging to that your soul has already outgrown but your ego still depends on?
Death is the moment your soul whispers: “You are allowed to be different now.” 🙏🙏🙏❤️ xx
