Whitland Town Hall Community Food Bank We are open two days a week and can also open for emergencies food packages.

During the pandemic, the Town Hall trustee members have opened an independent food bank in the Town Hall to help people who are in need and require a food parcel.

We are open this evening 30th of March untill 530 and then we will reopen on the 20th of April at 430.

If you require an emergency food parcel you will need to either go to a Carmarthenshire Country Council Hwb, or phone them on 01267234567 or go to their website and apply for a voucher under "claim what's yours"

Myself and Sophie would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the amazing groups, organisations, and individuals in our community who have so generously donated food and support over the past year. Your kindness, generosity, and community spirit truly make a difference and help us support those who need it most ❤️

We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community here in Whitland.
We would also like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎅✨
Enjoy the festive season, stay safe, and take care of one another.

Hello, unfortunately due to a family bereavement the food bank will be closed this Monday 15th of December

We will be open next Monday 10 until 12
As well as the normal time 445 till 545, for anyone in need of a food parcel before Christmas.

Also a big thank you to all the local groups and chapels and individuals who have dropped off food donations the last few weeks. We really appreciate everyone's kindness.

Hello all, as some of you know myself and Sophie both work in Education. We both volunteer in our spare time to run the food bank. Unfortunately our work commitments mean we can't open in the day, however we are able to open every Monday evening at the moment. And plan to add an additional evening over the next few months. We would like to thank everyone for the continued support this year.

*Please not we can arrange emergency parcels on days we are closed. We are flexible and can arrange collection in the evenings/ weekend like we have always done for anyone in need.
