💙 **A HUGE THANK YOU!** 💙

What a wonderful morning for Whitchurch Community Swimming Pool!

Janine and I had the pleasure of visiting the Mayor’s Parlour in Basingstoke this morning, where we were delighted to receive an incredible cheque for **£5,000** from former Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, **Cllr Colin Phillimore**. 🎉🏊‍♀️

We are truly grateful to Colin, his team, the staff at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, and most importantly, everyone who supported and contributed to his fundraising during his year as Mayor. Your generosity and hard work really do mean so much to us.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the lovely representative from **St Michael’s Hospice**, who received an equally fantastic £5,000 donation.

Colin has now handed over the mayoral role to **Cllr Jackie Tustain**, and we would like to wish her all the very best for her year ahead.

**Thank you, Colin.** 💙

Your support is helping us take another big step forward towards getting Whitchurch Community Swimming Pool up and running again. Every donation, every bit of support and every person who believes in what we are trying to achieve brings us that little bit closer.

**£5,000 is an amazing boost, and we couldn’t be more grateful!**

Gosh, it feels like I’m asking for a lot at the moment! 😅 But our next big fundraiser in the calendar is coming up, and we’d love your help! 🏊‍♀️

🛍️ Rotations Charity Shop — 13th to 26th November

We’ll be looking for volunteers to help us cover the rota at the shop during these dates. Whether you can spare a few hours, a day, or even just help out once, anything you can do would be absolutely amazing. 💙

Every penny raised will go straight back into our swimming pool, helping us get it up and running again — so your time really will make a difference. 🏊‍♂️✨

If you’re able to come along and lend a hand, please comment below or email me at [email protected].

Thank you, as always, for your incredible continued support. We really couldn’t do this without you! ❤️

***I want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has already purchased their tickets for the quiz so far - we had such a great response to our last post. If you would like to come along please follow the information below.****

Good Morning

I’ve had so many people tell me how much they’re looking forward to the quiz & buffet this year — and we can’t wait either! 🥳

We always have such a fun evening, with plenty of laughs, a bit of friendly competition, and, most importantly, raising money for Whitchurch Community Swimming Pool. 🏊‍♀️💙

We’ve also collected some wonderful prizes for the raffle, thanks to the incredibly generous support of:

🎁 Highclere Castle

💅 The Nail Salon in Whitchurch

🎂 Summer Daisy Cakes

🔥 Aardvark Oven & Carpet Cleaning

🌿 Emerald Edge Lawn & Garden Maintenance

💐Wild Rose Floral Design

We are so very grateful to each of you for supporting our quiz and our local community. Your generosity really does make a difference. ❤️

If you’d like to join us for the quiz, please purchase your tickets through the link below.

Unfortunately, we can’t take payment for the quiz on the night, as we need to keep a close eye on numbers and make sure we have enough tables and space for everyone.

And finally, a massive thank you to Whitchurch Sports & Social Club (WSSC) for supporting us so much with our events. We really couldn’t do it without you! 🙌

We can’t wait to see you all for another brilliant quiz night! 🍾📝🎉

💙 A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all our amazing volunteers!

Who came along and gave their time, energy and hard work to help at the pool. 🥰

Thank you to Caroline Barber Caroline Douglas Charlie Munns, Henrietta Wiltshire, Bridget Outridge Colin Phillimore Steve Slack, Kathy, Louise and Simon Dutton

A huge thank you to those who braved the pool and got stuck into clearing the sludge — and to everyone who tackled the brambles, weeds and that ever-growing tree! 🌿🌳

And of course, thank you to those who got stuck into painting the fence panels that needed a little extra care and attention. 🎨

Every single job, big or small, has made such a difference. The pool is looking amazing, and we genuinely couldn’t do it without the incredible support of our volunteers. ❤️

I am so incredibly grateful to every one of you who gave up your time today. Your continued support, enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in means more than you know.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙏💙

We really do have the most wonderful volunteers. 🥰
