We love October at The Maple Tree! 🎃

It’s such a lovely time of year to get creative, enjoy the changing season and start getting ready for all the spooky Halloween fun ahead!

This week, we’re starting with a look at Pets and Vets! 🐾🐶🐰🐱🐕🐇

We’ll kick things off with Messy Monday, followed by Twins Club 🍼🍼.

On Tuesday, it’s time for Smart Start in the morning, and on Wednesday we have Maple Babies, which will also include a visit from the Health Visitors — perfect if you have any questions you’d like to ask them. 😀

Thursday is a busy one! We’ll begin with Time to Rhyme in Wheatley, followed by Play & Learn at Forest Hill Village Hall, before heading back to Wheatley for our afternoon Learning Leaf session.

Then on Friday, we finish the week with lots of fun at Little Learners!

We can’t wait to welcome you to The Maple Tree this week.

Could you spare a little time to help The Maple Tree?

We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to support our weekly sessions in Wheatley.

Our volunteers are such an important part of what we do — helping us create a welcoming, supportive and happy space for children and their families.

You could help by welcoming families, setting up activities, chatting with parents, supporting our team and making sure our sessions run smoothly.

Take a look at our example session programme to see the days and timings of our sessions. Could you help us? Or do you know someone who might be perfect for The Maple Tree?

Please send us a message to find out more, and feel free to share this post with friends, family and local community groups.

Alternatively, email us at [email protected].

Every pair of helping hands really does make a difference.
