Last Thursday evening, Chris, our CEO and Sue, Our Chair attended the Weymouth Civic Society's annual awards evening at Nothe Fort

We were awarded with a certificate of commendation for the work we have completed at 20 King Street.

Chris and Sue were joined by Matthew Summers from MJS Design Solutions who was the architect for the project.

Thank you to everyone at the Weymouth Civic Society for recognising our work for the regeneration of Weymouth and the enhancement to the local conservation area.

Our lovely Chair Sue Prescott was one of the Mayor's Community Award Winners and was presented with her certificate from the Mayor last week.

What a week that was! Amazing people doing amazing things.

On Thursday, we had the pleasure of attending the first Dorset: We’re Stronger Together event hosted by Volunteer Centre Dorset and in association with NHS Dorset, Dorset Council and A wonderfully eye opening event, celebrating and showcasing the incredible organisations that work so hard, mostly under the radar, supporting the people of Dorset.

Saturday, we were on the sea front as part of the Community Expo organised by Weymouth Town Council. We spent the morning talking to local people about the work that we do here at WADT. We joined 40 other local community groups to raise awareness of what happens within the community, often behind the scenes to make our town a wonderful place to live and work. All to the soundtrack provided by AIR 107.2 - Weymouth & Portland

We're back at our HQ in King Street this week busy with new projects and ventures.
