Apologies for the lack of events and posts lately.
We have been dealing with building works etc and I’ve been poorly.
BUT we are now back in full swing. 🥳

Starting with….

Family bingo.

Saturday 7th March.. eyes down 6.30pm. Table bookings are advisable - but we do try and keep a couple spare for walk ins on the Evening.

The kitchen will also be open for drinks and snack- once again run by the lovely Liliana Travers and my mum ❤️

We still are a cash only premises.

The most amazing news

Ridgeway FC are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the FA 3-Star Accreditation which is the highest level for grassroots clubs, signifying they offer complete playing pathways (male, female, disability), are well-run, sustainable, prioritize safeguarding, qualified coaching (Level 1+), Respect, and have a development plan, unlocking benefits like kit/ball vouchers and advanced support for creating inclusive, thriving football environments.

It shows a commitment to quality on and off the pitch, making them beacons for community football.

Key Criteria for 3-Star Accreditation:

Complete Pathways: Must provide a full player pathway in at least two of the three main areas (male, female, disability) and have provision in the third.

Coaching & Safeguarding: All youth teams need a qualified coach (Intro to Coaching/Level 1 + First Aid + Safeguarding) and all volunteers have DBS checks, plus in-date safeguarding/first aid for teams.

Development Plan: A formal club development plan is required, outlining future goals for sustainability and growth.

FA Policies: Adherence to FA Club Rules, Equality Policy, and Respect Codes of Conduct is mandatory.

Well-Run & Sustainable: Demonstrates strong administration, financial viability, and a positive, inclusive environment for all ages/abilities.
